Research Mode

Admission

1. Doctoral Programme
• A Master's degree in Engineering from an approved university in an area relevant to the Candidate's proposed area of research.
• Other equivalent qualification approved by the Senate.
2. Master Programme
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with or equivalent from an approved University in an area relevant to the candidate's area of research or study; OR
• Other equivalent qualification approved by the Senate.

English Requirement

1. Foreign students are required to have proficiency in written and spoken English in one of the following forms :
• A minimum TOEFL score of 550; OR
• A minimum IELTS score of Band 6; OR equivalent
2. Candidates who do not possess English Language proficiency are required to sit for the English Placement Test before commencing their studies at UniMAP.
3. Applicants who are holding a degree with English as the medium of instruction may be exempted from this requirement.

Mixed Mode

Admission

• A good Bachelor degree in related engineering areas or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized University

Coursework

University General Requirement

• A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field with a CGPA of at least 2.5 from recognized University by the government AND approved by Senate; OR
• A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field with a CGPA of at least 2.0 from recognized University by the government AND has at least 5 years working experience in related field AND approved by Senate AND pass the interview to enrol into Master of Business Administration
  (Engineering Management) UniMAP.

Extra Conditions For Foreign Candidates (English Requirement)

• Foreign candidates must achieve a satisfactory level of English Proficiency, with a score of 550 for TOEFL or 6.0 for IELTS or equivalent AND approved by Senate.
