UniMAP Open Woodball Championship Begins Today

Pauh Putra, 22 Sept – The Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) Open Woodball Championship kicked off today with the Higher Learning Institutions (IPT)/Schools category as scheduled and will end on 25 September at the Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra Sports Complex Woodball Arena.

20 teams in three categories, namely the IPT/School, Perlis State Departments and Open categories, are competing in the championship.

Among the teams participating are the Islamic University College of Perlis (KUIPs), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and the Perlis Islamic Department (JAIPs).

Besides the UniMAP Woodball Arena, the Malaysian Teaching Institute (IPGM) and the Dato' Sheikh Ahmad Square courses will also be used at the same time this Saturday.

His Royal Highness Raja Muda Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail and Her Royal Highness Raja Puan Muda Perlis Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil will be attending the closing ceremony of the championship this Sunday at the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library (PTSFP) Auditorium.
