Five UniMAP Engineering Programs Obtained EAC Accreditation.

Kangar, December 14, 2016 - Five Universiti Malaysia Perlis Engineering Programs were awarded accreditation for three years from 2016 to 2018 by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC).

The five programs are Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Microelectronic Engineering, Bachelor of Product Design Engineering, Bachelor of Material Engineering and Bachelor of Polymer Engineering.

"We have received the Certificate of Accreditation for five UniMAP Engineering programs for the EAC Accreditation Assessment session visit last March”, said UniMAP Vice-Chancellor, Datuk Prof Dr. Zul Azhar Zahid Jamal,

"As a result of the visit, the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) has agreed to grant the certificate of accreditation for these five Engineering program at UniMAP," he told reporters after attending a gathering with the top management of UniMAP, in Kubang Gajah Campus, here, yesterday.

Also present were the UniMAP Deputy Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni, Assoc Prof. Dr. Mohd Foad Sakdan and UniMAP Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic and International, Assoc Ir. Dr. Rezuwan Kamaruddin.

He added that the recognition was the result of hard work and commitment from everyone in UniMAP.
