Kawasaki Donates Z650 Motorcycle To UniMAP For Research And Innovation Purposes

Shah Alam, 12 March – After Yamaha, Kawasaki Motors Malaysia (KMM) donated four naked Kawasaki Z650 motorcycles model to Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) to be used as a teaching tool for the UniMAP Motor Sports Technology Unit (MoTECH).

The Z650 will also be used in a MoTECH driving course in their efforts to improve driving and riding skills, and to increase safety awareness. The course has gained the support of the Road Transport Department (JPJ), the Road Safety Department (JKJR) and KMM.

During the ceremony, the motorcycle was handed over by KMM General Manager and Director Datuk Jeffrey Lim to UniMAP Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Professor Dr. Uda Hashim.

KMM also organised several annual safety campaigns such as the safe riding campaign for Kawasaki owners and the Chinese New Year Road Safety Campaign.
