UniMAP Ready To Share Expertise With YTU
Arau, November 17 - Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is pleased to share its expertise in engineering with Yangon Technological University (YTU), Myanmar.
This was voiced by UniMAP Vice-Chancellor, Brig. Jen. Datuk Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kamarudin Hussin when he received YTU visit at his office, in UniMAP Campus, Pauh Putra, here, today.
"This is the first visit by a delegation from YTU and we are proud that they chose UniMAP to look for the appropriate expertise to collaborate.
"YTU is a university that also focuses on engineering as similar to UniMAP and we will make a return visit there to see what kind of expertise that can be shared," he said.
YTU delegation led by the Rector, Dr. Theingi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hsu Myat Htwe and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ruth Hta.
While representatives from UniMAP during the visit were, the Director of the Center for International Affairs UniMAP, Prof. Dr. Rosni Bakar, Director of UniMAP Health Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Omar and Deputy Director of the Center for International Affairs UniMAP, Ahmad Hifzurrahman Ridzuan.
In a day-long visit, the YTU delegation visited Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library , School of Manufacturing Engineering (PPK), PPK Mechatronics, UniMAP Health Centre and the Lestari Agrotechnology Institute (INSAT).
