Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) held a benchmarking visit to Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)
Pauh Putra, February 3 - Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) held a benchmarking visit to Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) here, today.
The delegation consists of 26 people led by its Vice-Chancellor, Dato 'Prof. Dr. Musa Ahmad together with all the top management of USIM including deans were welcomed by the Vice Chancellor of UniMAP, Brig Jen Datuk Prof Emeritus Dr Kamarudin Hussin and the top management of UniMAP when arriving at Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library (PTSFP).
The delegation was given a corporate briefing by Dr Kamarudin before taken to visit PTSFP that has been the pride of UniMAP, then to Sungai Chuchuh to see ‘harumanis’ plant project at the UniMAP Institut Agroteknologi Lestari (INSAT) and Campus Uniciti ALAM.
Dr Kamarudin said UniMAP truly welcomes USIM delegation to UniMAP and hope the network to strengthen both universities can be linked together in the future.
"USIM and UniMAP are among young universities in the country, hence UniMAP welcomes any collaboration that can be achieved between the two universities in order to strengthen USIM and UniMAP own achievements," he said when delivering a speech at the Auditorium PTSFP.
USIM delegation was also celebrated in a casual ceremony in UniMAP’s Guest House in Kampung Kurung Tengar at the evening alongside with having a talk on improving the performances of the two universities.
