FTK won the Overall Champion for Inter-school Students’ Sports

Pauh Putra, April 14: Faculty of Engineering Technology (FTK) emerged overall champions for InterSchool Students’ Sports of Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) 2016 which took place on April 1 until 3 recently.

FTK won six gold, four silver and two bronze with a gold medal obtained by Mixed Tenis, Petanque (Female), Netball (Men), netball (women), volleyball (men) and volleyball (women).

Second place went to the School of Engineering (PPK) with four gold Microelectronics gained through Petanque (guy), Woodball (guy), Woodball (Women) and Football 9's inaddition to three silver and four bronze.While third place went to PPK Manufacture with two gold, four silver and one bronze.

A total of 19 events were contested at the 2016 Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) Inter-school Tournament participated by 11 schools.

Tournament held at the Sports Complex Stadium Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra, was organized by UniMAP aims to cultivate sports among students of the university in addition to fostering relationships among students.
