12 CEGeoGTech Students Joined the Intervarsity High Strength Geopolymer Competition (IHGC 2014) in UTP
Tronoh, 13th October – 12 students from the Centre of Excellence for Geopolymer and Green Technology(CEGeoGTech) Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) joined the Intervarsity High Strength Geopolymer Competition (IHGC 2014) which was held for two days at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Tronoh Perak.
The competition, which was organised in Malaysia for the first time, is based on knowledge sharing concept whereby students are required to present their own formulation related to geopolymer concrete.
The competition which was organised by UTP with the cooperation of the Malaysia Geopolymer Association (MyGeopolymer) aimed to produce creative and innovative generation of researchers.
The team leader for CEGeoGTech, Muhammad Faheem Mohd Tahir said that the participation in the competition is a meaningful experience for him and the other students.
